This thread was reported by no less than 3 people INSTANTLY. What happened? Well, for over two hours, nothing…other than some fucking trolls encouraging him to do it and making light of it all.

Well, they’re fucked up individuals. We know that. The more important question is, what does Wargaming say about this? Let’s look at the rules:
FROM THE EULA:
2.16. Death threats and other threats of violence in real life, directed either against individual users, game masters or administration of the project, are prohibited.
2.22. Any statements or other actions that violate any applicable laws or regulations are strictly prohibited and will be strongly suppressed.
That right there warrants an instant permanent ban for all players that took part in it. But wait! There’s more!

PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
- Making non-constructive posts, or creating threads on non-constructive topics.
- Death threats and other threats of violence in real life, directed towards either other forum users or members of Wargaming staff.
So not only did they break the game rules, they broke the forum rules. More than that, they broke the law.
Did Wargaming ban any of these assholes? No.
Did Wargaming report this to Law Enforcement? No.
What in fact did Wargaming do? They deleted the thread after allowing it to fester for HOURS.
Once again we see that Wargaming doesn’t have a competent staff to handle their forums. Not surprisingly, they also don’t have to balls to enforce their own rules.
But now they’ve taken it a step further: by NOT reporting this thread, they have set themselves up for a lawsuit the likes of which you wouldn’t believe.
You see, if for some reason that asshole

Why? Simple: Gross negligence.
Not only do they not properly monitor their own forum for such behavior and worse, they don’t report any of it to local law enforcement either.
Right now there is a girl on her way to prison for two-and-a-half years for encouraging a suicide. I wonder how long Wargaming will get if something goes tits up and it winds up being them on the hook for this?
After all, they took no action against ANY of the people involved in it. At all.
If Wargaming had ANY accountability and responsibility AT ALL, the following people would be INSTANTLY banned and have their accounts deleted:

There are some things in this life that are no joking matter. This is one of them. It’s a lot like any threat against the president: it’s a felony even if it is a joke.
This is no different. The OP of that thread should be, at the very least, held for an evaluation by a professional therapist. Everybody that posted egging the OP on to do himself bodily harm would, in my state, get no less than a 30 day sentence and the better part of 1,200 hours of community service.
Maybe that’s what some of these guys need, and could atleast use: SOME COMMUNITY SERVICE.
They darn sure don’t display it in this Community. Maybe they could use 1200 hours service at the Suicide Hotline in their local communities, or sent out on runs with the police to stop people from jumping off bridges, or from someone cutting their wrist?

I uninstalled WOT after reading this.
In my mind at the moment this game is truly at its lowest ever in every manner now. It’s only tempered by the fact that it’s only going to keep getting worse.
In all likelihood, you’re right. They’ve never even tried to fix the real root of the problem or any of the main game problems at all. They just keep hurling shit into an already enormous pile of shit.

I am surprised WG allows this crap to happen, I really am, currently I am beta testing Star Wars BF (Battlefront) 2 and we had a incident the other night where a bunch of players encouraged someone to committ suicide just because he played very well as a sandtrooper, well a day later on the forums a EA General Manager posted on the forums that the offenders who encouraged a player to committ suicide were banned and also reported to Law Enforcement
Well done to them!
If only EA was that good with their servers and products themselves.
