Folks, this one comes to us from our Facebook page.

Now, when the AMX 13 57 went on sale for a limited time (which was supposed to be three days, or a month, or a week depending on what page you looked at and wound up only being on sale for 2 days and change), there were a lot of questions:

  • Why are you selling it again when you said you wouldn’t?
  • Why do you put it in so many puffed up, overpriced bundles?
  • Why can’t we just buy the tank and garage slot?

and last but certainly not least

  • Can we trade the AMX 13 75 GF for it like they can on the EU server?

Note that is the 4th post in the thread that CabbageMechanic posted himself. It is NEVER answered even though multiple people ask for a clarification. (Nothing new for Wargaming NA (not applicable) as they exist apparently for the sole purpose of confusing, trolling and screwing over the NA player base.)

Well, folks, thanks to our Facebook page and cool cat named Dale, we can now answer that for you. The answer is “YES” if you can tolerate a bunch of pure, adulterated bullshit.

Now, for the record, Dale took a huge risk supplying this to us, but we have no doubt you folks will be cool since he is, after all, providing a MASSIVE public service here. Now, he has an account on the EU server and had actually taken advantage of the EU server’s offer to swap skins. He simply assumed that the NA server would be no different. So he sent in a simple ticket request to the NA (not applicable) support office identical to the one he did on the EU Server.

With the new skin for the AMX 13 57, can I swap the GF paint for a stand paint scheme please?

And here’s the answer he got:

WG EU took care of a similar issue with AMX M4 49 Liberte and the T26E5 Patriot in March of last year. Please reference ticket ID’s 4090066 and 4062085 on the Wargaming EU support portal.

When those vehicles were purchased the regular skins were not available. I have been a great consumer of your premium products almost since the beginning. Please take another look at this issue to see if there is a way to swap the AMX 13 57 GF for the AMX 13 57 please.

Not to be deterred by a polite, paying customer, Wargaming NA (not applicable) Support keeps denying to do a damn thing as usual.

The game is divided in different regions (Europe, Russia and North America), that are independent from each other; this means that they are different and separate entities. And thus do not have access to each others’ players’ account.

Also, please bear in mind that vehicles have a separate and unique gaming code that can not be changed or modified once bound on an account.

Please explain to me how wargaming EU was able to perform this function and wargaming na is not able to do it.

This seems like a simple case of won’t rather than can’t. It also seems to be maybe another attempt to get me to buy yet one more premium vehicle. If you look at my account you will see that I have already purchased dozens of Premium vehicles. I prefer to put my own camo on my tanks.

So how are you now able to change or modify this unique gaming code that “cannot be changed or modified” once bound on an account when you could not (I read would not) a few hours ago?

Is this a new capability you just acquired today or something you consulted with the EU server team to get this technology?

I spend a lot of money with your company and would like to feel supported for supporting you for so many years.

It’s all bullshit. The simple fact is they always could. Like our NA transfers we never got, they simply REFUSE to do it until you sort of prove beyond any and all doubt that they’re completely and totally full of shit.

So there you go folks. If you want to make the swap, feel free to start filing tickets and simply keep referencing the EU offer and the fact that they have now actually done it on the NA (not applicable) server.

Apparently, they finally found somebody that could click a fucking mouse and make it happen.

    NA customer service has always been Shit. The cheap fucks probably have the same 4 fuckwads employed as forum moderators, ‘pro players’, and customer service reps. Props to Dale for not telling these morons to get fucked after round 2. There is nothing worse than dealing with someone who don’t know their fucking job!

    I think that’s their plan: frustrate you into giving up with automated responders until they realize you’re not going to give up.

    It’s the same reason many businesses have mandatory 5 minute hold times for customer service: they hope you’ll simply hang up and save them any actual effort.

    @Gomez Yea I think you are right. Since they been laying off people since 2014 their customer service has been mostly non existence and I believe that if he was not a serious paying customer he would not be getting this far.

    @Gomez. The customer service strategy you mention is perfect for WOT, waiting 5 mins is damn near unbearable to the majority of WOT players. I can only imagine the amount of tickets submitted that go answered or unresolved because players just say ‘fuck it’.

    There has never been Customer Service for the NA region. It’s always been a slipshod operation of getting lucky with the rep who opened the ticket.
    Unsurprisingly, it’s only getting worse and worse.
    Did anyone notice Austin only had two CS openings, one for each server?

    I am currently having an issue with Wargaming “customer support” regarding the Twitch Prime loot you can get every month for having your Twitch Prime account linked to World of Warships. Namely that I haven’t received this month’s cool stuff, and I quote:
    “* Legendary Premium Tier V battleship Texas;
    * Commemorative flag;
    * 15 exclusive expendable Twitch Prime camouflage patterns;
    * A series of dedicated combat missions to get valuable consumables and a unique permanent camouflage for battleship Texas.”
    And yet, Wargaming keeps saying it must be me, and to contact Twitch support before bothering them. Well, I HAVE already contacted Twitch support, and the digital items have been released… So… DOUBLE YOU, TEE, EFF?

    @beornots I find it funny, they give me a 30 day forum ban, and don’t even touch my post. It’s still #376 on the Update 1.0 Extravaganza thread. I have only had issues with WG forums hitting me with the ban hammer ever since I have become more active here.

    That was probably the API. When you log in using the Wargaming API, all of the programming is done is Russian. You probably saw some brief tags or something that you normally don’t see.

    @dexatrins82 That’s part of that Russian retaliation, soviet style. That’s some of the very reasons that got this site started to begin with. The persecution of others who would speak out. The Moderators over there, the WOT LABs shitheads, who lay in bed with the WG Staff and the big clans, “Their Butt Buddies” They go out and take revenge on individuals where ever they can. The NA has always been full of corruption (Rather Was).. I’m sure the broom closet in Austin obviously is too.

    Absolutely. You hire a Russian From Russia Soviet Union and the chances are you get corruption.

    The whole irony is that in Soviet Russia Union Land those that have the ability to improve themselves but most won’t. There are a lot of very smart people and over the year some of those smart people can innovate. Such as Fracking was created back in 1953. And Sputnik… etc…

    But because over the years the society of corruption and totalitarianism over there imposed by the Oligarchs and Tyrants, the ability to create for the benefit of others is effing gone and complete ignorance sets in.

    It is so bad that Russia (as an example) does not have any sort of real efficient refrigeration technology to store food properly. They are still using archaic methods of agriculture and storage methods are abysmal. Living in villages and conditions that the Western World were living in 80 to 100 years ago.

    And lets not become ill over there. Russia’s birth rate is at 13.8% per 100,000 per year. Russia’s death Rate is 13.1% per 100,000 per year. They are paying Russians from other nearby countries to immigrate back to boast their population.

    According to the Corruption Index, they are a country of Liars, of Cheaters and of Thieves with a GDP no larger than Italy…. a poor Western Europe Country.

    They are the most corrupt country of all of the G20 nations. Think of that… More Corrupt than China as a lot poorer.

    It is so bad over there that Russia is now China’s Bitch. China calls the shots between their partnership.

    The White Russians I used to hang around in the US are a different and a dying breed of animal all together. I remember the good times and the parties I used to go. Got used to their KVass and soups… Good people but very very different in mindset than what you see coming from Moscow. I remember the wake of my ex father in law and the hundreds of Russian Families showing up at the funeral paying their respects. I know what I have seen with my own eyes…

    Needless to say feel that I know the difference between a Russian that comes out of Minsk and the Russian that comes out of Maryland so…. Anyone who is in Higher Management in WG I look at them as suspect.

    For the Exact same Reason why The Russian Federation is a 3rd world totalitarian state…. The power of greed.

    Oh just to add… as I was proven correct once again… There Precious 1.0 Encore patch… supposed to SAVE World of Tanks… I said it would be a minor blip and it was. The only reason why it blip up in the first place (as I stated it would in the other forums) is partly due to its newness and Easter/ holiday vacation. Now that are both over with we are now back to the usual down tick of the game… globally…
