Today’s installment has actually been in the works for a while. A few weeks ago we got an email from a fellow that is starting up his own Youtube Channel called WoT is WRONG. He was in the process of working on a couple videos to express his take on how you get essentially fucked over by the MM in World of Tanks.

That said, he’s finally got his two introduction videos done and wrote a word to introduce himself. So be sure and give him a look and a like and I’ll turn it over to him from here:

Hi my name is Johan and I liked to play WoT very much.

About 3 weeks after letting my year-long premium account expire, I felt like my win rate suddenly dropped big time over night. From that moment on, gameplay felt very different, I often ended up being one of the last 3 players alive on my team, in two or three minutes. Generally speaking, it was suddenly way more frustrating and less fun to play. It went on for several weeks before I noticed the pattern and started to collect the replays.

I’ve placed 3 (consecutive) days worth of replays on YouTube, so that everybody can see it for themselves. Or watch the introduction and analysis video, that neatly sum it up in a few minutes and tell you what to watch for if you want to check facts for yourself.

Beforehand of making these videos, I’ve contacted Wargaming about this issue but to no avail. After several weeks of crooked gameplay an unannounced update changed it. Still crooked though less obvious, a bit less frustrating and sometimes quite ridiculous in effect. I’ve also saved those replays but one project at the time 😉

I think people should become aware that the outcome of the game is heavily controlled, not always and not for everyone though. Spending some cash here or there on it doesn’t change a thing, premium account or not. It just seems to pop-up and never leave.

I think the game itself is very nice but the greedy management just fucked it up.
